General Sauna Questions
No experience is needed. Sauna sessions are relaxed and self-paced. Most guests simply enjoy the warmth, step outside to cool down when ready, and repeat the cycle.
Swimsuits or light clothing are required for all sauna sessions. Additionally, you should bring one or two towels.
The barrel sauna comfortably seats up to eight guests. Up to ten people can comfortably enjoy the sauna if you are a group of friends.
Wood-fired sauna temperatures typically range between 160–200°F, depending on how much steam is added.
Guests are welcome to bring drinks or snacks to enjoy outside the sauna between rounds.
Sauna operates comfortably in most weather conditions. If severe weather affects a scheduled session, we will work with you to reschedule.
Private sessions are delivered to homes, cabins, and other locations. Deliveries within 30 miles of downtown Green Bay are included. Locations beyond 30 miles incur a delivery fee of $1.50 per additional mile.
Community sauna sessions are hosted at parks, events, and partner locations.

Private Sauna Sessions
Private sauna sessions are 1-4 hours, with a few minutes before and after for arrival and departure.
The sauna is fully heated and ready to enjoy when your session begins. To ensure this, we arrive about 45 minutes before your scheduled time to prepare the sauna.
Yes. Guests are welcome to pour water over the hot stones to create steam, known as löyly, which increases humidity and intensifies the heat.
Cold plunge tubs may be available as an optional add-on depending on the location and weather.
Guests may also cool down naturally in fresh air, snow during winter, or nearby water, depending on the location.

Guests should bring their own towels for comfort during sauna sessions. Two towels per person is best.

Community Sauna Session FAQ
Community sauna sessions offer a shared experience hosted at parks, festivals, or partner locations around Green Bay.
1 hour. Most guests enjoy the sauna in three relaxed rounds of heat and cooling. Spend about 10–15 minutes in the sauna, then step outside or use the cold plunge for a few minutes to cool down. Repeat this cycle two or three times, finishing with a few minutes of rest and hydration. Always listen to your body and take breaks whenever needed.

Your sauna host will remain nearby if you need assistance at any time during your session.

Sauna Rental FAQ
Longer-term rentals allow you to enjoy the sauna repeatedly at your home, cabin, or Airbnb, giving you time to settle into the rhythm of heat, cool down, and relaxation.
Rental options are 12, 24, 36, or 48 hours. We arrive about 45 minutes before your start time to set up the sauna and walk you through everything you need to know.
The sauna should be set on a flat, stable surface and positioned at least 15 feet from any buildings. Ideally, it will be placed facing water or a wooded/forest view for the best experience. Some municipalities may have additional placement requirements. If you have questions about your location, please reach out to us at sauna@920saunaco.com.
We provide clear verbal and written instructions before your rental begins, including how to manage the fire and enjoy the sauna safely. We’re also available by phone throughout your rental if any questions come up.
